The clowns we live with

Micah and Anna decided they were going to dress up like clowns last night.  I think this was inspired by some friends of ours giving us red clown noses.  Anyway, they kept coming downstairs with all this funny stuff on, most of it came out of my closet:)   So these are the clowns we live with, always liking to dress up and play in different realms of their imagination its so fun to watch.  Anna also enjoyed dressing Sammy like a princess, which all the other boys in our house not liking, maybe show a picture of that one day.  So we are trying to teach Anna that he won't like that when he gets older, but oh how she enjoys it now and Sammy doesn't no any better so he likes it too.

Sammy loves a mess

Well this post will be primarily about today and mostly in relation to Sammy as he was the cause of many messes today.  In general he likes to explore more parts of our house than any of our other kids did.  When I've talked about this with other moms, I have gotten that it could be his personality or it could just be he is number four so I can't watch him every minute of the day as I could have with possibly one and two.  So needless to say he loves to open all the cabinets and take things out, but his favorite thing is to play in the bathrooms which of course is not allowed.  But now that he can open the doors he can go in there anytime he wants, unless we lock them...considering it:))  Well today I was doing school with Isaiah and the others were playing upstairs, I would check in occasionally and ask Micah and Anna what Sammy was doing, ie-making sure he wasn't in the bathroom.  Well I go up there at 5:00 when we are done to find a puddle of water all in the bathroom floor and a trail of water to Anna's room where he was filling up her little tea cups with water and was pouring them on her cookie sheet.  It was quite the sight and something good to laugh at, but he will have to be taught that is not okay.   Micah and Anna didn't seem to notice until I said something about all the water.  Oh well, I realize its not their job to watch him, however I was hoping if they saw an inch of water on the floor they might let me know.
So mix that in with the writing on the wall with chalk-good thing that erases.  And the dumping of the milk jug right after community group tonight and as much as I love that little rascal I was ready for him to go to sleep so that I could stop wiping up messes.  The bad part is he is so cute when he does them...so yes I will love to clean up more messes tomorrow!

Isaiah Turns 8

Today our sweet Isaiah turned 8!  It is hard to believe that he is that old.  We are so thankful for him and his sweet demeanor.  We tried to do a lot of his favorites today so here are some of the pictures from the day.  At his party tonight Travis highlighted God's image in Isaiah, how we see good things in him.  He is a helper, he helps me when I need it, but he also loves to care for his siblings primarily Sammy.  Which I think is why Sammy took so long to walk, he had big brother carrying him everywhere he needed to go.  Isaiah is a gift from God and we are so thankful for him.
Isaiah's favorite(and mine too!) chocolate chip pancakes.  Supposed to be an eight, but use your imagination.

The Birthday Boy, eating his chocolate chips.
Micah lost his other top tooth after this picture tonight, now he has a big gap!

Anna loves them too!
Kids are dressed for the football party already, its only 9:00 a.m.  Can't see Micah's face, but love the gatorhead.  This gator head we had as a child, my dad(Granddaddy) sent it for Christmas and we love it....or most of us anyway.
Isaiah's party, all of his friends eating!
More friends!
Isaiah had a football party!  This was his cake and he had a great time!!
Isaiah getting some gifts, in the background may be able to see the posters on the wall.  He got two posters from the University of Florida for his birthday- Go gators!
Isaiah's best Friend Elijah-they are getting so big!!

Snowy Christmas Time

It snowed here Christmas night about 6 or so inches.  My brother drove up from Florida just in time to enjoy some of the snow. We were able to go out the day after Christmas and sled with some friends and enjoy the snow.  So here are some of the pictures during that time.  Don't worry I won't keep going backwards in posting, I do plan to start talking about and giving pictures from the present soon.  Once I get the hang of everything.
Uncle Herschel after sled down hill, escaping the trees, barely.
Travis, Isaiah, Micah and Anna rolling a huge snowball so see how big they could make it.
Herschel and Sammy as we head off to sled.
Brantley, Kylie, Anna, Micah and Isaiah.
Anna, taking a break from her favorite thing to do, eat the snow!
Micah posing in the trees, and trying to keep warm.
Isaiah stopping in the middle of a snow ball fight.
Sammy loved taking this bucket letting us fill it with snow and then pulling it by himself to dump by the snowman.  He would not want anyone to help him pull it, and it got pretty heavy with all the snow in it.
The finished product!

Football for Christmas

Well since we just started this blog thing, I am trying to figure out how to do all the fun things, like add pictures and just what goes where.  So thought I'd post some pics from Christmas and see how it goes.
Isaiah and Micah are really into football right now....So Isaiah loves the Gators, because well he is with his mom all day who loves them too:)  Micah is much more into the color of a team, thus the Falcons helmet as he wanted black, though I will say good choice, Go Falcons.(Aunt Beth would agree!)  I wasn't planning on getting Anna one until she said that she wanted VOLS, right now this is true, she does like the vols, I guess she may end up being a Papa's girl.  So then of course, had to get Sammy one so went for Dallas there!  So now we are ready for some football!!

The Time Has Come

Well our family has finally gotten to the place where we can start a blog and hopefully be faithful to keep up with it.  This blog will be an avenue for our family and friends who live far away to see our children grow, play, and experience life in which they are not able to see that often.  I have been encouraged in this by my sister who lives far away and that is how I get to see my nieces grow up, it has been a huge blessing to be able to see their faces, to hear them sing and dance.  So we pray that this will better help our families and friends keep up with what is going on with the Williams family.  And I am sure it will help me keep better record of my children as they grow.
